We are looking for a Software Engineering Director to lead our new software engineering team (Exploring Team) of global features implementation. You will need to build the team from zero and control the software development process once team build. Besides, you may also need to manage the team productivity, provide technical leadership and even bring new ideas to reinforce no matter software development process, system quality or software requirements. Movover, you are expected to join the engineering division strategy meeting to not only come out with the technology roadmap but also make the plan for company’s objectives achievement. 【Responsibility】 ・As an Exploring Team Director, you need to take the main ownership for the features about exploring both users and Livers in the 17LIVE application. (i.e. user profile, post, leaderboard, running, notification, and user login) ・Builds the software team from scratch. ・Manages a software engineering team to implement the requirements and review outcomes by leveraging agile software development processes. ・Sets clear expectations for team members; solicits, synthesizes and delivers feedback. ・Join the Division strategy meeting to come out with the technology roadmap. ・Come out the division level objectives with the division head and make sure the Objectives can be achieved. ・Work with the division head to support division level management. ・Leads a team as a startup team to face diverse requirements and even think out of the box to bring new ideas to benefit business. ・Manages activities such as developing technical proposals and providing detailed costs and schedule estimates for software projects. ・Design large scale, fault tolerant cloud based service infrastructure. ・Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources. ・You will work with cross region engineering teams for features implementation. ・You are willing to propose new ideas and we will support you to land on our platform. |
| 応募要件 | ■Required Experience/qualifications ・Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Software Engineering. Master’s degree is preferred. ・Development experience for Japanese users ・6+ years in software development in BtoC in dustry ・4+ years as a developer ・2+ years as an engineer manager. ・1+ years as an engineer director. ・Experience in managing software development teams ・Experience in working with the engineering head to come out with the technical roadmap. ・Experience in coming up with division level objectives. ・Well understanding of software development process ・Strong communication skills ・Leadership and Management skills ・Strong analytical and coding skills. ・Ability to work independently with minimal guidance. ・Demonstrated ability to manage technical teams. ・Experience of system design. ・Business level English ・Business level Japanese ■Welcome Experience/qualifications ・Go programming language development experience. ・Algorithms, Architecture, Cloud Computing, Database, Distributed Systems, Networking. ・Good at large scale system design. ・Cross functions management ・Experience in a scrum master ・Experience in cross functions development. ・Experience in cross functions management. ・Experience in function level management. ・Open minded and creative thinking to create new ideas ■Position Director ■Ideal candidate profile Three core values and a strong fit Respect Everyone Focus On Goals Break The Norm |
