My impression after completing a total of 30 times to teach the Japanese course

the end of the JLPT exam and completed Japanese course

Well done to those who took the JLPT exam on Sunday, December 6.

It sounds like the reading comprehension was difficult on this test. I’ve taught the reading comprehension part of the test a total of 30 times since February of this year, so I’m very curious to see how well you all understood it.

We had total 30-day Japanese language courses from February 1st to November 28th of this year. In the beginning, we taught in person at our building in Nakano, Tokyo, but since March, when the COVID-19 started to spread, we have been teaching Japanese online using ZOOM.

When we started teaching online, everything was new to us, we didn’t know how to teach online and
it was hard to know how well our students understood, so it was hard. However, once we get used to it, the online classes are great, and
we can accept many students as we want, not only from the countryside in Japan, but also from abroad, whereas in person class, only people in the Tokyo area could come. Also, it is easy to record the classes and
watch them at a later date to study, so I’m glad that we taught the online classes now.

Some students were unable to return to Japan because of the COVID-19, and
some from Vietnam and
Morocco joined the class. Most of the students lived in the Tokyo area, mostly from India and
Vietnam, but there were also students from South America and
Europe.

On the last day of class, Nikolay-san from Bulgaria came to our place and
gave us a beautiful chocolate cake as a thank you for the class.
It was delicious, Nikolay-san. Thank you very much.

This year, we had a total of about 200 people register for the class, but fewer attended because the class was on Saturday and
everyone was busy with work and
didn’t have much time to study Japanese.

Next year, we will be offering the JLPT preparation courses again, but next year we will reduce the volume a bit
and motivate more people to join.
We will be recruiting students for next year at a later date on this website
and my LinkedIn, https://www.linkedin.com/in/akiomuta/

Well, everyone, see you next year!
